Find attached the first circular for the 2024 Limes Congress.
It is released when the Call for Papers is live already for some time (limes2024.org). At this point we wish to provide those who already submitted a paper proposal with necessary information and those who have not with a reason to consider submitting. To facilitate this time for consideration, we have extended the deadline for paper submission until 31.10.2023.
Vardzia Conference 2024
5th - 9th June 2024
We are pleased to invite you to the XV International Young Archaeologists’ Conference. It will be held once more in Vardzia (the rock-cut monastery in Southwestern Georgia), from 5-9 June, 2024, sponsored by the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. If you wish to come and take part, please submit an application form by 10 April 2024.
NB: The registration fee will be 150 Euros, including transportation from Tbilisi to Vardzia, accommodation, and full board at the hotel in Vardzia.

7th International Congress on Black Sea Antiquities

The Organising Committee of the 7th International Congress on Black Sea Antiquities extend an invitation to all interested scholars to participate in the forthcoming Congress, either by contributing a paper or by attending as a discussant in the proceedings. The official languages of the Congress are English, French and German. Its specific subject is the Black Sea: Hub of People and Culture (8th century BC - 5th/6th century AD).
The Congress will be held at the International Hellenic University, Thessaloniki (it has a successful MA programme in Black Sea and Eastern Greek Archaeology, with students from a range of countries).

Lordkipanidze will be held once more in Vardzia (the rock-cut monastery in South-Western Georgia) from 27th - 31st May 2021, sponsored by the Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. If you wish to come and take part, please submit your online application (abstract 300-500 words) by 30th April 2020.
